Budapest and Györ Day Trip
This tour will give you an opportunity to learn about the unique culture and history of Hungary. You will not only visit its capital but also another important economical, industrial and cultural centre of Hungary. The city of Gyor is located halfway between Vienna and Budapest and is famous for its splendid baroque historical monuments which have stood the test of time. Since 1989 the buildings of the historical centre of Gyor are under the protection of the pan-European Federation for Cultural Heritage, Europa Nostra.
The next stop on our trip will be the capital of Hungary, which is widely known for its bridges, great mixture of architectural styles and breathtaking panoramic views. Budapest is the city where every building, boulevard, view and café will both surprise and leave you with an unforgettable memory.
The tour of Budapest includes Heroes’ Square, the Fishermen’s Bastion, the Opera House, the Chain Bridge and the Royal Palace, as well as the major sightseeing spots of the city. Budapest not only boasts the biggest Parliament building in Europe but also the largest functional synagogue, the longest tram and the first underground road on the continent! But these are not the only surprising things about this city: there is in fact no other capital in the world that is home to so many sources of thermal water. This tour is a unique chance to experience all that the truly impressive Hungarian capital has to offer.
